We are now looking for our next Emergency Vehicle Technician for our Lincoln location.
Compensation: $16 per hour with a generous wage increase at your 30 day training period. A generous increase at 30 day review. Hiring bonus after 90 days of fulltime employment.
We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated new team member in our Lincoln facility. We have specialized in up fitting Emergency Vehicles for over 20 years. While automotive experience and knowledge of two-way radios is a plus, it is not required. We will provide on the job training for all new hires.
Duties of this position are as follows: Dismantling the interior and exterior of new vehicles this includes but is not limited to headliners, seats, carpeting/flooring, headlights, taillights and trunks. Install lighting systems, sirens, cameras, radios, weapon locks, computers, push bumpers, prisoner seats and containment systems.
Physical requirements: Standing, walking, bending and moving around and inside vehicles. Manual dexterity is highly important for wiring and soldering. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have sufficient vision to read instructions and recognize color coded electrical wires.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have a clear driving record whuch will be verified through the DMV.
