A career opportunity for a willing candidate! Must have a basic knowledge of vehicle wiring & the ability to read and understand product installation instructions. The ability to work in a team environment is a must.
Duties of the position: Must dismantle the interior & exterior of new vehicles (headliners, seats, carpeting/flooring, headlights, taillights, back up lights & trunks) in preparation for complete build then must install lighting, controls, sirens, cameras, radios, weapon locks, computers, push bumpers, prisoner seats & partitions, strobe lights in headlights and taillights, etc
Physical requirements: Standing, walking, bending and stretching around and inside vehicles. Manual dexterity is important for wiring, soldering, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient vision to read instructions and recognize color coded electrical wires.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Any knowledge of emergency vehicle equipment is a HUGE PLUS!
